I’m grateful to the group of friends who supported me in this undertaking. Thank you who stayed up late with me to read and proofread early drafts of Old Richard and help form the person he would become. Thank you to my talented models who brought these characters to life. Most of all, thank you to you, the reader, for taking the time to share a piece of my heart and soul.
We use whatever talents we were blessed with to share ourselves with the world. If I were a painter, I would have told Old Richard’s story with a brush. If I were a singer, Old Richard’s lost love would have immortalized in song. But because I am a poet and photographer, I give you words and images.
About the Storyteller
D’Angelo Reid is a poet, photographer, video game enthusiast, literature nerd, and self-styled Facebook comedian. He studied Information Technology at the College of The Bahamas.
He’s known since high school that he had the gift of opening his heart and allowing the words there to fill pages. Old Richard was his first creative project he presented to the world but it will doubtfully be the last.
